Amanda Munday - BA Hons Music, QTS

Bespoke Music Tuition for individuals and groups in Mid Wales & Shropshire

I teach harp and piano in Montgomery, Mid Wales - all grades and all ages.
From beginner harp days and workshops in schools, nurseries to community groups. 
I also work with local harp maker ‘Silver Spear Instruments,’ and together we always have harps to sell and hire out.

Community groups looking for a speaker?  How about a talk on the History of the Harp, from its beginnings as the Hunter’s Bow, to the present day revival of harping. Power Point presentation or Flash Cards.  Played, and CD examples. Enjoy your usual refreshments, and get your hands on a harp before you leave!

I am qualified in secondary music education, with extensive experience in primary and peripatetic work.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to engage in, and be inspired by music.  The harp is sometimes viewed as a ‘magical’ instrument, only for the elite! 
                         
Actually, the magic only happens when YOU play it!  So throw away those stories and come and HAVE A GO!
